Our Current Project

Our current project, Everlasting Hope is based on real events that occurred in our region over a period of time. In our screenplay we have combined many moments from several people into a few characters to illustrate this story.

In this story we follow a young couple in ministry as they take on a great challenge of leading a small church in the heart of the rough side of the City of Hope. When they encounter a homeless stranger their lives will be forever changed. At that moment they must take a look at who they are and find out what is really their true calling in life. Through a tragedy not only does the young couple face uncertainty, the local authorities and the city itself have to come to terms with who they are and what their future will be.

We get to see through several different characters how when we trust in Jesus Christ there really is an everlasting hope and how despite our past, present or maybe an uncertain future that God is a God of restoration. Through each character our audience will see testimony after testimony of what God can do when we fully place our trust in him. This project has moments in it that can only be of God. We could not have written this in our minds and hearts.

Everlasting Hope is truly a labor of love from our community. Along with professional actors, we have cameos by people who experienced these moments first hand. Pastors from local churches from different denominations and outreach ministries ranging from homeless, prison, and medical ministries are participating as well as local businesses. For this reason, this project will take twice as long to finish as we work around the diverse schedules of these active ministries.

“But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;

his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:21-23
